15.04 will be the last version of ubuntu desktop I shall install. Not interested in Mir. Will almost certainly switch to a Wayland based distro.

Unity 8 and Mir wont be default before 16.10 as both are still in heavy development.

On the bright side there won't be anyone to be furious about sudden ABI breakage as there is no one targeting Mir outside Canonical anyway
