    And by GCC 5 I hope they mean 5.2, else its old already!

      it is gcc 5.2 now in unstable but not all packages has been rebuild against it(ie libreoffice)

        Agreed... SID is pretty much broken right now. I'm having a hard time keeping my system running at the moment. I hope Debian's switch to GCC5 goes by quickly.
