    Do this XGI driver even support DRI2 and KMS?

    These drivers will probably be dropped soon.

    Also now there is the generic driver that can be used instead.
    There is xf86-video-vesa, and xf86-video-modesetting, not to mention llvmpipe and softpipe.

      It's NetBSD. Generally they don't drop ever. Especially for such tempermental hardware as this.
