    And it is totally useless

    The keyboard has many important keys missing, like a backspace.

    The keyboard can switch into different modes (qwerty, numbers etc) but only by sliding it with the stylus or your finger. Which 1 in 5 times instead registers like a keystroke

    The screen is sluggish with updating and sometimes takes forever to refresh.

    Some parts of the screen remain eventhough the application got closed.

    On the sim pin box is a nightmare first because of the earlier mentioned keyboard problem but it also out of the blue decides to send the pin to register with the network while the pin is not yet complete.

    It rarely properly connects to the GSM network.

    Also there is a long list of known issues here.

    All in all it frustrated the hell out of me within 30 minutes of using it. This was suppossed to be the "It just works" image. You are better of sticking with 2007.7.

      The 2008.8 image is not supposed to be at "just works" stage, it's still developmental. There is a Qtopia image that is supposed to be more stable. Did you try that?
