Poettering is like the modern GNU/Linux Bismarck of our time. With blood and steal, make one consistent Linux environment!
Date of world domination still got to be announced

          They should've called it systemd-confd.

Poettering hates Linux. When will they finally make their own kernel and leave the Linux community?
Isn't it funny that Linux has had the same kind of personalitiess before, the same amount of worship, and they slowly became irrelevant, yet people won't learn?

No, not funny at all. Just fact. People never learn, period. Irrespective of the topic at hand, people just never learn, as groups that is. Individually they might but in groups, never.

Perhaps you shouldn't focus on the individual but rather on the technological prowess.
For someone supposedly hating GNU/Linux, Poettering and the other systemd devs sure do love to improve it and relax the, less than sane, mess created by the original *nix infrastructure.

Everyone gets some few big mouths hate systemd but expressing that hate through personal attacks on developers is just low. Maybe systemd is not perfect but it is best we got. Everyone is free to suggest better alternative oh praise the oss.

Yawn. Will some people ever grow up?
