    Why bother porting it to Qt5?
    It worked good in GTK.

        It worked good in Linux, but wireshark is a multi platform project. Qt5 is much more Mac and Windows friendly..

                FYI: He had to go to a lot of effort to force gtk to look that bad.
                I would post a screenshot, but this forum is complaining about not having authorization to upload an attachment. Figures.

                    "A lot of effort" in this case meaning almost no effort at all if any, because that's GTK2's default theme, and the screenshot isn't from GNOME or another GTK based environment to have had the theme otherwise set.
