    I used virt-manager at my last job and I use it on my work laptop for this job and never had any problems with it.

    On the other hand, the company I work for has VMWare vSphere, and it's convenient enough for managing datacenters, networking, storage pools, and VMs and live VM migration that I can see why people pay for it. I'd still prefer to use Chef, Puppet, Salt, Ansible, or similar instead of using a point and click GUI, but I can see the appeal.
