    Is Gtk3 enabled by default? Does Firefox use by default Gtk3 instead of Gtk2 when both available? Exceptions?

        I believe it's a compile time choice, whether it's on or not will depend on your distribution. The official binaries have it if you're downloading directly from Mozilla's FTP.

          It's a build time options. In case you're curious, type about:buildconfig in firefox AwesomeBar. Look in Configure arguments at the bottom. If you spot "--enable-default-toolkit=cairo-gtk2", it's GTK3. BTW Fedora has been shipping GTK3 enabled Firefox build for quite a while.

            I believe you mean "--enable-default-toolkit=cairo-gtk3" for GTK3. At least, that's what's in my buildconfig in Firefox on Fedora.

                  The precompiled build is still using GTK2. Since Oxygen-GTK3 doesn't work anymore and it's using Oxygen-GTK theme I have set for GTK2 apps..
