Yeah, I actually am quite familiar with it, thanks. It's open to interns based on their gender, sexuality, and skin color. Pretty much anyone other than white straight males. Not sure how that can be described as anything other than sexist/racist or at the very least discriminatory. Of course in your ever-so-enlightened Orwellian fever swamp, discrimination based on one's genitalia and race is just dandy as long as it aligns with your political ideology. Yay fascism...

Maybe a well known FLOSS project should select only straight white males as interns because of the "under representation: of straight white males in other "outreach" programs? Yeah, that wouldn't fly. And neither should "outreachy" because it's just as silly and discriminatory. Two wrongs don't make a right.

How about instead of selecting individuals based on their genitalia, skin color, race, etc, select them based on their interest and qualifications.

I think a map application is not about streets, street numbers, how to get from this street number to another street #, but it's also about what companies, organizations ... are at a street # and the more detailed information about them, the better. Will gnome map ever be there? Or will it stop at providing street numbers because it's open-source?

GNOME is not doing enough to make it more inclusive to woman. You can't just create special programs specifically for woman and minorities. You have to reduce the influence of males and whites because studies show that white males actively discriminate and discourage woman and minorities. A research paper has shown that females students perform way better in girl's schools than in mixed gendered schools and are less likely to develop mental illness because there is no males to oppress them. GNOME MUST reduce it's male and white male employees to 10% or less for a more woman and minority friendly environment.

Racism and sexism describes structures of privilege and oppression. Therefore there is no such thing as sexism against men or racism against white man because because they are the privileged and the oppressors. If fact, the more you include them in a particular organization, the more sexist and racism it becomes. If you want to really eliminate racism and sexism, eliminate white men. This is what gold smith student union officer Bahar Mustafa realized and so she was slandered by white men who ruined her career.
