Well, Xubuntu 16.04 alpha1 is out now, but Kubuntu is still MIA. Actually there's no news on the Kubuntu website since the departure of Jonathan Riddell. Bummer.

I am totally satisfied with 14.04. It is by far the most polished, complete and stable version of Ubuntu as far as I remember my self in the Linux world. first version I tried was Ubuntu 11.04. I will upgrade to 16.04 but only after 1-2 months after final release.

No other distro ever satisfied my needs for a complete, easy to setup/use, polished, fast and highly supported OS (I tried Mint, Fedora, Mageia and many many other in the past) and the only alternative to Ubuntu for my needs was Xubuntu in older systems.

My bad, I was looking at Lubuntu and (for some reason) thinking Xubuntu.

Revan daily != alpha (yes, it's possible they're doing what Ubuntu is doing, but I haven't seen them announce it)
