Phoronix: Missteps Of The X.Org Foundation

With the recent news of X.Org possibly losing its valuable domain, many have commented in our forums and elsewhere how this could have possibly happened... However, in reality, it is sadly not much of a surprise...

They should forget about http://www.x.org/ and put all ressources into http://wayland.freedesktop.org/. Let X.Org die and bring Wayland to life.

Nah. You see, that would be adding unwanted cruft to Wayland.

Well, very clear picture of a blind trust in US stable financial system. Any SW developer should switch to non-US location and non-USD funding to avoid a huge risks. More, Xorg can be "a good old display server solution for PC and server" for a long time ahead if no restructuring and rethinking occure with a product strategy in "wayland besides" environment.

The quote didn't say manpower, it said resources, that is, the information about the X server

Will you guys stop this already? X is the only working server we have now and we still need it until Wayland is both stable and mature. (And even past that for legacy stuff few people will care about.)
I can't read an article about X these days w/o the mandatory "omg, X should die, Wayland is da stuff". That's not how software transition occurs.
