Phoronix: Qt 5.7 Feature Freeze Planned For Next Week

At this rate, 5.7 may come even before 5.6 :|

I expected them to take care of Qt 5.6 but they already talk about 5.7...

5.6 has been feature frozen for months, so any newly developed feature could at best have been targetted at 5.7 for quite some time.

And 5.6 is a long term stable release, so many features developed in time for its feature release have not been included in order to have 5.6 mostly include code that had already been released before.

So even if there is a freeze on new features for 5.7 now, there should be plenty of new things already.
