    Very nice. Color management is one of these often overlooked but critical pieces of the rendering stack.

      Colorspace transformation is exactly what babl does, and I know it has simd support (possibly opencl but that might be a false memory).
      What would be interesting is a comparison of the two libraries along with determining how much energy each acceleration method uses (1.5x isn't a lot, and that requires using both the CPU and gpu).

        Should test on some faster AMD GPUs .
