Can this be used together with an Android device, a NAS and Chromecast?

Reminds me a lot of the Xperience1080 skin I'm using, which is (imho) all great except the complete lack of mouse support. Looking forward to the new one.

It can run *on* an Android device, but they're too thick to implement chromecast support. That means that you need an actual android device connected to your TV.

What you can do, is run the xbmc remote control program (called "kore") on your phone to remote control the xbmc hooked up to your tv.

Frankly, a lot of the xbmc UI is frightfully bad. Especially for a television -- with the font set to maximum, you can often still hardly read it. They also insist on their absolutely abysmal on screen keyboard, rather than allowing you to pull up the system keyboard.
