      I'd imagine the bits needed for Wayland are all in the open source section of the hybrid driver, therefore it should work just as well as AMDGPU. I could be wrong, though.

        You guys should do some benchmarks and tests with Wayland and NVIDA/AMD drivers. With the these latest fixes etc..

          All new functionality of previous Nvidia drivers failed miserably.
          Wayland didn't work(files were not created where needed)
          Same with Vulkan.
          I wonder if it was gentoo related. I also wonder if it's now fixed

            According to the mailing list, Nvidia drivers still don't support Wayland.

              At simple seek this drivers still same on wine for now



              However need test native games case KOTOR II for glvnd changes in this driver

                If you use the Steam overlay which includes the Vulkan loader all you need is to make sure that this file is correctly packaged:

                /etc/vulkan/icd.d/nvidia_icd.json
