    Looking at the commits, it seems more thoroughly tested and on a wider selection of hardware compared to the first few patches. And v5 already underway too.. Very nice

      Nice, nice. The easiest and quickest way to effectively overclock your gpu (I mean without it just showing artifacts and crashing all the time). Also the easiest and quickest way to fry your card! A win win situation! Bettered be very thoroughly tested though.

        Well not really. I still respect the vbios and hardware limits. So sometimes you can only overvolt by 0.05V. And usually high end cards are running quite close to the limit already. This offset just directly manipulates the required Voltage for a clock. Everything else is still in place.

          this also means, that if the required voltage for a clock goes over the vbios/hw limit, that cstates won't be able to set, where the other way around more cstates are available
          so:

          undervolting -> overclocking
          overvolting -> underclocking

          the heat production should stay the same in both cases, except when the highest cstate is still far below the voltage limits (usually on mobile chips)
