Does anyone here already tried an update from Mint 17? What is the best method to do it?

By the way is it safe to do it right now or better to wait a few month like for an Ubuntu upgrade?

Admin commented that this is a cache issue and the actual version you can download is the stable.

Very nice distribution, been running it since yesterday and had no issues so far (unlike Ubuntu 16.04...).
The Cinnamon desktop with Mint X Aqua themes + Adwaita looks great and functions as expected.

I tried Mint 18 beta with Oibaf PPA and things didn't go so well. The Cinnamon UI would ghost and some windows wouldn't render. Not sure if this is fixed with final release.
