    That's why distros are the most useless shit that ever existed, all they do is update packages, even their theme is the default ugly one

        Does fedora actually target any changes for end users? Or do they assume that the desktop providers do that?

          desktop changes are more or less on regular schedule there and unless there is some system gui it is not even mentioned beyond new Gnome version. new kernel, new mesa... are not even mentioned at all as they are standard to be the latest

          if you check https://getfedora.org/ you can see developers are primary target for distro. now check this https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Releases/24/ChangeSet . whole lot of shiny new things for those

                What's the difference? The distros are among the biggest contributors to most desktop projects anyway...
