I definitely have noticed this. I find it a little annoying, as I need OGL 4.0 for something and I don't feel like compiling the git version.

Works with Debian testing/sid too.

I use Arch. I can wait, I just find it annoying that I have to, considering it's roughly 2 weeks late.

It looks the archlinux PKGBUILD in trunk is already at 12.0.0 rc4 but you have to compile the package yourself.
