I've been using it loads lately, more than I ever have. Still never seen the survey but I usually start in Big Picture Mode. I think the survey doesn't appear there?

Holy mackerel the 1060 is cleaning the 480's clock.

Based on just this data it looks like nvidia is selling 3x as many 1080s than AMD is selling 480s. And 1070s are 5x.

I guess nvidia knew what they were doing targeting the higher price brackets.

Yeah, when it says useful things for NVIDIA the steam survey becomes a valid source of info.

I just finally got another survey on my Linux install a few days ago. It had been a very long time since the previous, even though I've gotten 2 for Windows in the meantime. My desktop spends 90+% of its time running Linux.

I'm still not sure what the Steam Survey algorithm is looking for, but something has always seemed a bit imbalanced.

You are totally crazy saying facts about AMD on this forum. Your balls will be kicked for 20 pages...

AMD drivers are slowly growing up, once they hit that 'working flawless' status with most the good titles on steam, then I'm sure we will see a increase in Linux gaming popularity. I don't see Wayland/Mir maturing anytime soon, so X.org all the way!

I hope so for AMD, because under Windows the 480 is just as good as a 1060 with a few bucks saved. Unfortunatly it is not the case under Linux...
