    Won't GNOME follow new versioning scheme of GTK+? Perhaps they will continue with 3.xx until GTK+ 4.0 and then release GNOME 4.0 ? Does anyone know?

            Kind of related, there's also the SteamDevDays in 10 days, and I think Unity *Editor* is releasing its first Linux version (v5.5) around this month.
