I'll watch for it to come in on [mesa-git] on arch.

This is great news, thank you to all who are doing this work. Cheers

Any idea when AMD is going to turn on AMDGPU by default for Sea Islands? I have a 290 and would love to test this out but compiling a custom kernel just for amdgpu on Arch seems like a stretch, and not the Debian kind.

My understanding is that it is still not the default even as of 4.9. Any ETA?

lcarlier already has radv in his repo, merging it in mainline mesa will just make his build easier.

vulkan-radeon-git in the mesa-git repo is radv

Neither the semi-interesting nor the radv-submit2 branch are building for me

Wow, this is so cool (amazing!), I'm blow away that the great developers got this in good shape so quickly! I will be trying out Mesa git after it has been merged, I'm running it on Gentoo now, so it just means doing an
                    Code:
                    emerge -1 mesa
                    and it's done.
