    I would like to have this for both XFS and EXT4. Paragon's driver isn't free and I'm not *that* desperate for one.

      I wonder how hard it would be for Microsoft to write a VFS implementation similar to Linux's.

        Raid 5/6? I thought even the Linux driver doesn't work properly with that.

            Do they have a vfs? I know it's got to be pretty different since it supports async io through the entire io path.
            A better question is how hard would it be to make the Linux vfs not such a pain point.
