    POWER9 support: does it mean it can emulate a POWER9 CPU on other architectures, or use whichever virtualisation features the POWER9 supports? (or both)?

      Yes, that's the job of QEMU after all.

          Hah, same here. Have an old iMac with the funky halfball base sitting around and decided bugger it, would be easier to emulate. Turns out it wasnt!
