        Hmmmmm... tried the flatpack version on Ubuntu 16.10. While cutting, moving and fading a short clip, the UI was freezing completely. master branch after just some seconds, stable branch after some minutes. Never came far enough to render the result. Tried 0.97 from the ubuntu repos. Same freezing as flatpak stable branch.
