Is not something going to be developed like Gallium3D 11 to support DirectX 11?

Will they develop something like Gallium3D 11 to support DirectX11? Or is this never going to happen?

Direct X 10 support is still a work in progress, so I think the efforts are focused on delivering it 1st.
Then the step to DX11 seems easier and come "fast" and after that, maybe, we will have "Galliumed" optimization of DX11.

There was but it has been abandoned long ago. See for example: http://www.phoronix.com/scan.php?pag...tem&px=MTMyNDU
