    Could be amusing to run the glshim OpenGL 1.x-to-ES translation library the OpenPandora community cooked up on top of ANGLE.

    Given some of the things they've supported using it, I'd assume it's intended to produce a useful desktop-compatible API by complementing rather than reimplementing the bits common to regular OpenGL and GLES.

      Khronos should release an official implementation of this things on top of vulkan. On single reference implementation once and for all on top of a well designed low level API like Vulkan.

        The wider Vulkan's deployment base the more ensured it'll rise to defacto.
