some problems occurs on the major number of linux distros I have been using: DDR saturation causes long time suffering on Hard Drive usage Seems also that the speed ,of hard disk becomes significantly low so that the single tab page on internet becomes unresponsive. Windows microsoft systems have not this kind of problem when ram is saturated So I don't know if cache, swap, sata drivers or file systems cannot manage well the data information because of some kind conflicts- However I can describe the situation with a similarity: it seems as the hard drive run in PIO mode reducing its ability to 1 max 8MB/s.

The problem affects each kind of software used, above all browsers since the last 2-3 years perhaps since longer past time.

The saturation appears to partially linger still after closing the browser.
