    Rumors are that Google is experimenting with Intel on the upcoming Pixel 2 phone.

        I think Intel ended only their 4G efforts.
        The SoFIA 3G chips are now repurposed to IoT.
        With 5G they supposedly want to be back.

          And that's why they are called "rumors". I find it very hard to believe that Google will use Intel in the Pixel 2 given the fact that Intel has quit their smartphone ventures: http://www.theverge.com/2016/5/3/115...martphone-quit

            Does Intel use Mesa on their Android phones and tablets? Or did they decide to make the third OpenGL implementation (the first one is for Windows)?
