Let it go... Let it go.. cant hold it back anymore... let it go.. let it go....
the time for the upgrade has come
Cause i don't care
If i'm on K 2 4
My PC still logged on..
It hasn't been shutdown since the ice age
Also waiting here, i hope AMD will make a release driver pack for the RX 480, not for gaming but for use off Folding@home, and Boinc users, now i need to use Ubuntu and i hate this distro.
PLEASE READ: don't email me to report bugs, unless you are sure it's a packaging bug. Not only is email not a good tool for tracking bugs, it also excludes anybody else from tracking or working on the issue. Please read the section "Debugging and reporting problems" below.
Also, please don't ask me to include non-free drivers, I won't do it.
Patches and suggestions are welcomed.
=============
All Ubuntu architectures are supported.
Supported Ubuntu versions:
- 22.04 (jammy)
(use yakkety version with Debian testing)
And use Debian testing Xfce
Stock kernels have buggy amdgpu driver, see diff from kernel.org, very little new code.
Thanks wil look in to this now i use this works good only it's ubuntu 16.04 Lts : Linux Boinc 4.9.5-040905-lowlatency #201701200532 SMP PREEMPT Fri Jan 20 10:37:24 UTC 2017 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux
And the AMD Driver 16:60 - SDK pack it works all ok.
Also some statistic, Jesse Freeze was 5 and half months with double more RC bugs then this one has at beggining, so maybe we can tip that this one might be less frozen... smells like june to me, maybe.
3 months is the minimum, so maybe about 4 or so months debianxfce won't (t)roll
