Better use Unreal Engine, id Tech, Source Engine 2, CryEngine, or Unity, or any other game engine which comes with source code.
Unigine doesn't' come with source code so it is not developer friendly.

Also Unigine Corp haven't done anything for the open source community, they don't even have a GitHub page!
All other companies like Facebook, Microsoft, Google, Epic Games (Unreal Engine), Unity Corporation, Valve, Crytek, etc have presence on GitHub.

Unigine comes with source code if you pay for the version that comes with source code as used to be the case with every commercial game engine until Unreal went it's own brand of open source.
More so than any other commercial game engine (still) Unigine treats Linux users as first class citizens.

Unigines current feature set doesn't completely overlap with any other commercially available game engine which makes it relatively easy to tell if this is the right choice for you.

Strange how we don't see any real big titles using this engine however, not saying its bad, just saying the business policy they got going is clearly not attracting allot of attention. I guess Unigine has enough private sector customers or something to keep em going...

Their simulators rocks, I would love to learn to drive in one of their simulators instead of those used here that seems made from the 90s
