Just remember to state who provided your VR unit, it's common practice to disclose such information. Hiding it serves no purpose. People need to know where your loyalties are, ethics...

I wish there was a free game I could use to test this, but I'm not going to shell $40 for an Early Access game I don't even want. I'm disappointed Valve didn't port The Lab to Linux for this dev launch!

I would like to know if dual GPU is supported for VR.
And what the mode is, split rendering for each eye or simply something akin to Xfire/SLI ?

I am super excited about this VR with Linux review! It would be cool to see what VR content is available for Linux. Does HL2 or Portal work with the Vive and Linux? What about Dota2? What about applications such as playing VR movies such as Whirligig or Virtual Desktop? Is there any news about Vive games on Windows that will be made for Linux?

Ok, this needs a longer answer.

                  1. Dual GPU is supported for VR.
                  2. SLI and Crossfire are useless for VR since they are introducing lag.
                  3. Existing dual GPU solutions (Nvidia VRWorks/VR SLI, AMD LiquidVR) use one GPU per eye.
                  4. Serious Sam VR (both TFE and TLH) supports both VRworks and LiquidVR on Windows with D3D11, read more http://gpuopen.com/implementing-liqu...serious-samvr/
                  5. AFAIK there is no Vulkan support for mGPU yet, so SSVR cannot support mGPU on Linux (I may be wrong, ask AlenL on Steam for clarification)
                  6. 99% VR games do not support mGPU, even on Windows.

VR is the future but I might wait a little for cheaper devices. Michael please try also X-Plane.
