    KDE Simon is a speech recognition program, but its last release happened back in 2013 and hasn't been brought into a KDE Frameworks 5 + Qt5 world, but development on it is restarting...

    I'd definitely like to see better speech recognition come to Linux.
    I remember trying Simon out a couple of years back, but one issue it had was that it tended to think that the sound of my keyboard typing was speech input... yeah, it needs some work.

      Try theShell desktop environment which has pretty good speech recognition built-in: https://vicr123.github.io/theshell/thewave.html
