Will this enable nouveau's 3D acceleration on NetBSD now or in the future?
Is there any other BSD with open source acceleration for nvidia or amd's GPUs?

NetBSD is getting good, wish there was news on minix too

Minix is a microkernel, and microkernels are a waste of time.

And yet most people use hybrid operating systems that combine the best of both microkernels and monolithics like windows or mac. Even monolithic kernels like linux implement a lot of features that derive from microkernel ideas like inter-process communication,
But sure is easy to say "microkernels are a waste of time" when you don't know the first thing about microkernels

So inter-process communication didn’t exist before microkernels?
