      So with Vega getting all of this SR-IOV attention, any chance that it'll filter into consumers hands, so we can - you know - use it in QEMU for gaming? ^^

        Unlikely, since it requires additional hardware in the chip which is only in the cards for the professional segment.

          Well fuck, here's to hoping that said hardware is in all Vega chips, and either is available for consumers, or can be made available with some fiddling in the GPU's BIOS or by sending it the right commands.

          Personally i'm hoping for the first part /o\
