      Now that the numbering has changed to increment the major number every 6 months put it be better to use the minor number for point releases rather than patch number

        It is interesting that he went to Redhat. It makes me wonder if Redhat will move to LLVM/CLANG in its distros. There are certainly some interesting positives with respect to LLVM/CLang that Redhat might leverage.
