Well blog post may have been back-dated. Regardless, their RSS feed only showed for it on Friday for me.

As I mentioned in one of your earlier Unreal Engine posts: The Unreal Engine blog posts are nearly always a week late, and usually back-dated. That this blog post was only four days late is relatively fast for this blog. I've seen blog items show up as late as TWO WEEKS after the forums. The forum post is the official announcement for Unreal Engine. They say as much over and over on their livestreams. When in doubt, simply use the date of the forum post when describing when the release actually occurred. I really suggest not using their blog for a source of information, unless you always want it very late and watered down.

The forum post is usually done exactly simultaneously with the release. They have made a point of pressing the release button and the forum post button together on their twitch livestreams in the past. I can't find any RSS feed for the forum, though. Nor any way to set up automatic notifications. So that's got to be annoying.
