Since F25 will be supported until the arrival of F27 it is extremely propable that it will receive Mesa 17.1 and maybe even beyond.

are there plans for something like Mesa LTS? Or do the distros apply further patches along their lifetime?

Whats the point of any LTS?
I thought 1 year support would be cool for distros.. At the moment end of life is reached after about 3.5 months, so when a new Mesa main version has been released. This fits mesa-rolling distros only. Or do most distros update mesa within a month already?
