On the gaming on Linux site they had the slides up for the Feral/Mad Max talk. The biggest surprise to me was that radv performed as well (technically, it was slightly behind, but it wasn't a big delta) as amdgpu-pro. The biggest disappointment was that it was still slower than gl (for amd 480) in all scenes save Tyrant Landing (of whatever it's called). Nvidia, otoh, was nearly always a good bit faster with vulkan than gl.
I wonder if feral did most of their devel on Nvidia. That's interesting because they mentioned a feature that amd had but nvidia lacked ("AMD has device-local and host-visible memory types"), while they made use of at least one vendor specific extension (vk_nv_dedicated_allocation). Perhaps the talk will address these issues in more detail.
