      It's NEARING big release.
      The web site you provided shows it's already present in Chrome, FF, Edge, and it will certainly be in Safari in September (new iOS+macOS release, quite possibly sooner bcs the Safari releases aren't completely tied to Apple OS releases).
      If you're going to complain that it's not yet ready, looking at browsers is not going to do it! I'd be providing numbers about how many SERVERS are ready to provide it...

        All recent compression work seems to based on some LZ compression algorithm, LZMA, 7z, LZ4, LZO...

        There's nothing revolutionary in this area since 70~80s ?
