I'm pretty sure that anyone with a modicum of understanding of what UBIFS is (filesystem for embedded devices using raw flash) and what Ubisoft is (shitty game developers) will NOT associate the two things.

Most people here will never use UBIFS, at least not for their filesystems. From the homepage:

UBI works with bare flashes, and it does not work with consumer flashes like MMC, RS-MMC, eMMC, SD, mini-SD, micro-SD, CompactFlash, MemoryStick, USB flash drive, etc; instead, UBI works with raw flash devices, which are mostly found in embedded devices like mobile phones, etc.

Yeah. And avoid routers 'blessed' by UBIFS like a plague. You can utterly forget finding 3rd party firmware for such.
