No, it's not a stable driver release at all, it's considered beta or even experimental. Just that they were started off the 381 branch when they began their OpenGL 4.6 development work and didn't re-base to 384. It will be with the 386~387 series likely when that merge to mainline happens and will be part of their normal stable Linux driver releases.
