Anyone else having problems with Deus Ex: Mankind Divided on this driver?

It runs at <1fps for me, including main menu and intros. Completely unplayable. I know 17.2 was working at some point and giving me about 55fps avg. in the built in benchmark at 1080p high. I don't know exactly where I started having issues, but rc4 and rc5 both did not work. Works fine in other games though. Downgrading to 17.1 or 17.0 branches solves the issue and the game becomes playable again.

    Ubuntu-GNOME 17.04
    Linux-kernel: 4.12.9
    Mesa: 17.2rc5
    R7 1700X
