    I have Intel graphics and Ubuntu daily which boots GDM then I login to GNOME on Wayland but the transition is not smooth.
    Isn't atomic mode setting and such supposed make these things smooth?

      Not that I will be likely to help but I am curious, which version of Intel graphics and/or processor do you have sir?
