Fully agreed with this point of view. So I would vote for a first step toward a ban, some sort of warning, then a full ban.

But who knows, Qaridarium might be Michael Larabel's free time alias. For all I can see Michael is like an ADHD guy on energy drinks who doesn't need to sleep, just to work (good work, by the way) so I would bet that he's just spicing up the forums a little bit in his free time. I pretty much believe Qaridarium doesn't have a poor English but he intentionally writes in that broken way just as well as he intentionally keeps throwing flame bait everywhere. He's from Germany? Cheap made up alibi for his pretended broken English. Knows a lot of facts about Germany? It's hard to forget Michael's explicit interest for that country pointed out everywhere by himself ;)

Oh and BTW every single one of my predictions about ATI drivers falling further and further behind has come true. Dave Airlie spends so much time with irrelevant crap he cannot possibly have the time to do anything constructive.

Let's not try to be something more than politically correct, as crossing that limit it is in everybody's detriment. And remaining politically correct would mean coercing Qaridarium to stop disturbing the peace.

I think you have phoronix confused with a democratic government utopia. Phoronix is a for profit enterprise to which political dogma cannot be applied. The decision to ban Qar is Michael's and Michael's alone. We're not citizens, we're customers.

I can see how people from socialize and communist republics might get companies and governments confused.

It's people like Q that make this place interesting, is that right?

My point wasn't about this being a democracy. Whatever system this is, my point is upholding civility. Economic interest and civility aren't mutually exclusive, so my point still stands.
