I've been running 4.2 under Debian with a Windows XP guest for a while... Some months ago, I installed "guest additions" with 3D acceleration under Windows XP and it caused the Windows XP to BSOD every time I started it.. I had to wipe the whole VM and start it fresh.. Since then, I've been a bit scared to install guest additions for 3D acceleration.. Maybe I can create a clone of my guest and try it.
