Phoronix: Mesa 9.0 vs. Mesa 9.1-devel On Intel Sandy Bridge

How to Enable OpenGL 3.x?
Hi.
I'm generally curious: as a Fedora user (18 beta), how could I enable OpenGL 3.x support in Mesa for Intel HD 4000 graphics? For some reason I cannot enable it with the default packages provided, and I'm somewhat unsure of how to build Mesa from source over my existing installation. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.
