I was a bit skeptical at first on the whole systemd migration in ArchLinux. but after testing it out and going full native systemd and seen the benefits. I'm not looking back at SysVinit :).

not really, either its KMS on or its off completly. closest would probably be to put in a video=640x480 or some low res to get a lower-res console if you wish for it. and have Xorg set its own mode...
i recall it being "AllowColorTiling" "true" according to the source-code.
Afaik TTM/BufferObj is a hard requirement for Gallium3D drivers to work and be possible to implement in the first place.
so TTM is likely already working. but there's a lot of things to optimize...
