@IanS
Damn, <50$ for that size. Thanks for sharing the info!
Which model do you have? Which driver does it use, does it expose the standard xinput touch interface? Working well?
Well, it depends on how much is much. This desktop here has a 60W difference when running idle vs running with all cores full.
When you find one such anti-feature enabled by default, it makes you ask, what else is enabled by default.
Oh they are, it's even public in many places (via the yearly funding reports and so on).
Indeed. No need to buy their kit.
Please, don't yell.
And second, it's not done on the graphics unit, it's a dedicated video block within the same chip. There is a difference here. AMD's...
The Google apologists here fail to see the two points...
1) It's one unified bar. This means every URL you type, ie things you did not intend to be searches, are also sent.
2) It's enabled by...
QuickSync does not affect graphics. IIRC you can use the quicksync hw already while not touching any of the graphics stuff, or "running the encoder with the integrated graphics". I remember seeing...
Vbox 4 is far more buggy than the 3 series. I think it *still* has mouse issues, introduced in the 4 series, of course.
It differs in that anyone, you, have the chance to look at it any time, should you so choose.

What if all Ubuntu wallpapers are created by applying excessive blur on porn?
Mind = blown.
I mean that tying GreenLight to Linux coolbits was the conspiracy theory - GreenLight by itself, as a program to push card OEMs around, certainly exists.
My understanding was that nothing was...
I suppose the big question here is how did Canonical get access to a pre-production Macbook?
Apple shouldn't like them that much.
It's also very sad when your stance on a platform gets your mental health questioned...

This one is getting smart. It copies headlines and posts in such a way that it often resembles good english. Still a CP bot though.
While interesting on its own, tying it to Fermi Coolbits on Linux is a bit far-fetched. I do value a good conspiracy theory, but given the low marketshare of Linux, and the low % of linux users that...
If every texture lookup is up to 16x more expensive, it will hurt on lower-end cards with less texture units / slower VRAM. Like my 4350 :p
Yup, the sorts I've seen were 5-10x faster than the cpu, but they were also wasting a lot of the gpu power (and so watts) due to not being fully parallelizable.
I wouldn't go through the trouble...
The e-350: think Atom + 30%. Not even close to your core 2 duo (but something like 5% of the price and 30% of the wattage).
