Nobody is denying that gnome developers also do work on wayland, but you said yourself on the first page that gnome is leading wayland development which isn't true.
My link proves exactly the opposite.
I don't how Intels Tizen3 has anything to do with my post or with gnome. Anyway just looking at the first page, picking only one developer and disregarding any other contribution made by other people...
No, because as you can clearly see that most commits are from intel employees where most of them work on wayland for different reasons as gnome.
No, that would be intel: http://cgit.freedesktop.org/wayland/weston/log/?qt=author&q=intel.com
There is nothing stopping you. It just lua with some mpv function in place for playback and if you need more function for playback you can just ask on github for them to be implemented.

EDIT: Here an undeniable proof:...

AFAIK, kristian, the wayland developer, had a working implementation of remoting images with deltas. Also he is doing some work on a rolling hash implentation, which should speed things up. But I...
The actual use case is scaling windows for very high dpi displays like the retina.
If you would have read the blog post you would know, that he was just curious.
Because the window manager will draw the decorations. But there is no window manager for weston that supports sever-side-decorations. Also there are advantages with client side decorations, like...
wayland and weston are already released and at version 1.0.5.
Also wayland and weston are in the official archlinux repos. They also enabled the gtk wayland backend in archlinux.
They are still...
Maybe he had no say in the decision and it is only logical to try to defend your employers decisions.
That package that is called wayland provides a library and headers for implement how the clients communicate with the server (compositor) in C. In fact it just a proxy in this regards which handles...
